Focus on capacity issues or transfer from lab to full-scale production.

Looking at examples such as transferring a process from a sponsor’s site to an outsourcer, moving from an R&D/pilot scale to industrial production, for example, the judges will be looking for examples of research and creative problem solving, original thinking and the successful project resulting in the long-term commercial benefit of the business.

• Type of process
• Cultural differences
• Audit history and yield
